Lewiston active shooter suspect’s photo released; deputies seek identification

Deputies in Androscoggin County have released two images of a suspect in the active shooting, mass casualty situation in Lewiston. Authorities are now asking for help identifying that person. Those who may have an identification of the below photos are asked to contact dispatch@androscoggincountymaine.gov.The Lewiston Police Department is also asking those who may recognize the vehicle below to call them at 513-3001 ext. 3327. It is believed the front bumper may be painted black.Multiple law enforcement agencies are investigating two active shooter events in the city of Lewiston. At this time, law enforcement is urging people to stay inside and lock their doors. The city of Lewiston has issued a shelter-in-place. If you see any suspicious activity or individuals, please call 911.”
