Push or pull, just get me out of here. Consider this a warning and I hope I’m clear. I don’t know how I’ll make it while I own the ace. I’d like to give it back before I pin it to your face, but instead I’ll just liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with commentary hyping the show up.

Judgment Day make their entrance sans Finn Balor, who is presumably occupied getting ready for his main event match against Cody Rhodes.

Rhea Ripley welcomes us to Monday Night Raw, the place that they run. She admits that some things went wrong, and Damien Priest clarifies, saying Finn should have won at SummerSlam and they should have won last week, and communication is clearly a challenge but as long as he has Money in the Bank they’ll have it under control.

He says Balor will take care of Cody because he’s one of the greatest, and he should be saying that himself, but he’s not here. He reassures us that they’re not breaking up, Rhea admonishes him that this isn’t the time or place, and Damian says something’s wrong in the Judgment Day and they’re supposed to be a crew.

He begs Dominik Mysterio to back him up to no avail and asks where Finn is—

Enter JD McDonagh.

Priest tells him to be careful with what comes out of his mouth, and JD says he means no disrespect to the most dominant faction in all of WWE. He came out here tonight because he has a message from Finn, which is that they shouldn’t worry about his friendship with Balor, but they should worry about Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn, the latter of whom has been inexplicably cleared.

Ripley tells him they don’t take orders from anyone, and Dom tries to say they have this locked down but he gets overwhelmed with boos. JD says his message is delivered and goes to leave, Rhea tells him to tell Finn they need to talk—

Enter Sami Zayn!

No words, just brawling with McDonagh! JD lays him out by attacking the injured arm and we go to break!

Post-match, Balor runs in and tries to blast Zayn with a kick but Sami’s just a step faster!

Chelsea Green confronts Adam Pearce over not wanting to relinquish the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and he gets sick of her and asks what she would do point blank and she says she’d have tryouts to find a new tag team partner.

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter roll up to issue a challenge as soon as Chelsea finds a new partner. Piper Niven rolls up and lays them out and tells Green that she’s new tag team partner, and she doesn’t take no for an answer.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Byron Saxton interviews Cody Rhodes.

Rhodes says you gotta be a loose cannon to do this gig and he admires Finn Balor to a degree. He’s been a leader in Ireland, Japan, and now here with the Judgment Day. But he’s not the only leader in that group, because both Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley are real leaders and stars, and Dominik Mysterio is, uh… submissive? But a champion nonetheless!

It’s been a long time since he wrestled in Winnipeg and he’s excited for it.

We get a recap of Imperium business.

Imperium hold course, with GUNTHER on the announce desk.

He says as a European he’s always looked forward to coming to Canada but after being here all morning he understands why Winnipeg is the armpit of Canada. But he’s here to address his new #1 contender, Chad Gable.

He says he has to be honest, he was really impressed with his victory last week. He’s been working hard for years, a former Olympian, maybe the best athlete this company has to offer, but he’s achieved more in a year than Gable has in his whole career! All of us believe that he’s a threat to the Ring General, but that’s ridiculous.

At the end of the day—

Before the match can begin, we go to break.

Circling, Dozovic shaking as he draws in the energy of the crowd, shoulder block, Otis rolls under but the Ring General blasts him with a boot! Stomp to the face, trading chops and Dozer goes hard into the ropes! Clubbing blows, Otis blasts him with a body block but GUNTHER catches him with an overhead elbow to the dome!

And so we go to break.

We get a recap of Shinsuke Nakamura attacking Seth Rollins.

Shinsuke makes his entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Michael Cole interviews Shinsuke Nakamura in the ring.

Nakamura begins answering and immediately shifts to Japanese. He says in English that he wants the world title and he’s going to win the world title.

Enter Seth Rollins.

He tells Cole he did a great job but he’ll take it from here and welcomes the crowd to Monday Night Rollins. He tells Shinsuke he’s not hard to find, and every single week he’s in the middle of the ring dressed to the nines, title around his waist, with the entire world singing his song.

And to boot, he’s a fighting champion and if Nakamura wanted a crack at the title, all he had to do was ask, but he didn’t. He’s less concerned with the “why” and more with how he can get even, but Shinsuke wins because the best way to get what he wants is to give the King of Strong Style what he wants, so challenge accepted.

Nakamura whispers something in his ear and then comes back and lays the champion out with Kinshasa!

Byron Saxton interviews the Miz backstage.

Miz denies that he shook LA Knight’s hand and rambles about how he does as he pleases and he might show up on SmackDown.

Trish Stratus makes her entrance and we go to break.

Cody Rhodes is backstage warming up in a tracksuit branded with his American Nightmare logo and we go to break.

Back from commercial we get a recap of all the Alpha Academy / Imperium stuff from earlier.

Imperium bicker amongst themselves and GUNTHER says he’s had enough. Tonight was an embarrassment and he asks Giovanni Vinci what should be done with him. He follows it up by berating Ludwig Kaiser for ignoring his responsibilities, and Kasier apologises and guarantees it will never happen again.

Further he offers to go to Adam Pearce to make it right, but the Ring General says he’ll sort it out by himself.

Backstage, Adam Pearce confronts Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark and says they’re gonna do Lynch vs. Stratus again with no run-ins or interference because it’ll be in a steel cage!

Cody Rhodes makes his entrance and we go to break.
