The actress/singer, 29, will be releasing a new track with none other than Usher himself.
The duo announced their new song, Boyfriend, on Instagram on Tuesday.
The song appears to allude to the controversy with Usher, 44, heard singing, ‘Somebody said that your boyfriend is looking for me.’

The announcement included the track’s release date of August 16 along with a brief teaser of the music video.
‘When fantasies become reality…”Boyfriend” Out Tomorrow, 8/16,’ Usher captioned the clip. For her part, Keke captioned the announcement with the song’s release date.
Fans went wild over the news in the comments section, with one posting, ‘Can’t even be mad they making a bag off the situation. That man tried to humiliate you and you turning it into profit for you and yo son! It’s a MOTHA!’
‘KeKe definitely knows how to make a moment into a bag. Get it girl!’ another posted.
‘He’s going to ban Usher’s music off his playlist for the rest of his life,’ another posted, with a laughing crying emoji.
It came after Usher spoke out about Keke being outfit shamed by her then-boyfriend Darius Jackson at his concert.
For the concert, Keke wore a sheer, thong bodysuit dress that prompted Jackson — the father of Palmer’s six month-old son — to take to Twitter and write, ‘It’s the outfit tho… you a mom,’ expressing his disapproval.
Speaking with People, Usher said the moment was ‘worth talking about.’
‘I think everybody’s vision or a version of what they felt happened there just leads you back to just really having a good time in Las Vegas. And that’s what I hope came out of it,’ Usher told the outlet earlier this month.
‘Rather, it was a conversation of what was going on with us having fun in front of the audience or conversation about that song,’ he added.

Usher went on to say, ‘Every night I’m thinking about how the world now is going to react to this moment that I’ll have with whoever I’m choosing to sing to.’
The Confessions hitmaker has also sung to Kim Kardashian, Kimora Lee Simmons and Saweetie.
He went on to say about the instance with Palmer, ‘But it was a pop moment, and it was fun to have at least conversation going and we just keep it light. I don’t see anything negative happening in Las Vegas.’
On July 5, Jackson ignited a fury of backlash when he took to social media to call out Keke for her outfit choice.
When fans came to Palmer’s defense, Jackson doubled down as he fired off a second tweet defending himself.
‘We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is,’ he said.
‘This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case,’ he added.
Meanwhile, the Nope actress did not address the situation explicitly, but appeared on Instagram to share content from the evening and tell fans she wished she had taken more photos.
Usher later commented on the post, writing, ‘The Big Boss!! Thank U for coming.’
In a subsequent episode of her podcast Baby, This Is Keke Palmer that was recorded before the drama, Darius admitted to having high standards for his romantic partners.

In the clip, shared one week after the couple made headlines, Palmer asked Jackson how he felt when they decided to go public with their romance.
The fitness instructor revealed he felt ‘pressure’ to be perfect, and confessed to holding Keke to that same standard of perfection.
‘You almost feel that pressure of needing to be perfect,’ Jackson answered. ‘And so, it really confused me and infiltrated my mind because not only did I have to hold myself to that perfect standard, I was also holding you to a perfect standard as well.’
Although fans have speculated that Keke and Darius may have broken up either before or immediately after the wardrobe drama, neither has addressed their relationship status since then.
